The People We Meet Along The Way.

We meet so many people in our lives. Some are merely acquaintances, others become 'family'. There is so little time on this earth that we should never feel that we need to horde our resources and gifts that God has given us so as to impede the next person from succeeding. I learn so much from people I come in contact with, and I am blessed when God graces me with wisdom to pass along.

I met several vendors over the weekend at the Westin Bridal Show that 'touched' my life. The Velasquez' -Roy and Mara, were a delight. They are photographers as well, and do beautiful work. Mr. Michael was another photographer that worked the show and although we talked very little, he and his team were a delight. BJ you go girl! You know, we attend a school of Photography every year to increase our awareness of new technology, to learn new lighting techniques, to keep our creative juices flowing. We learn from other photographers during that time as well. While there is an expense in keeping up-to-date, it is nominal for ensuring that our clients are getting the best from us. We also network with the guild on a National, State and Local Level that brings very talented people together to learn from each other. We all have a gift…it’s definitely in the giving that we truly do receive.

The couple from www.engagementsbridal.com provided a beautiful backdrop for the wedding that we photographed. Wonderful samples of Cake were provided by www.cakesbygina.com. Listening to her husband talk of her capabilities is wonderful. He is truly proud when he speaks of her. Loriann of www.redtangles.com had beautiful accessories and it was a true delight talking with her during the Westin Show as well. Samantha of Sitting Pretty Occasions www.starbrides.com took on a big role in getting this show together, and while it did not meet our expectations, perhaps it was what we needed –time to just be able to sit and catch up with ourselves.

My wish for all today is that we realize the gifts that we all possess, be thankful for the gifts and then turn around and give them to the next person who will benefit from them. God bless everyone and may you continue to see your blessings as HIS works. -RoseAnn
