A Trip Along The West Coast

I took a trip. It wasn’t a thought out plan with itinerary in hand, it was a spontaneous trip, it was a trip of a lifetime. My cousin, Rita and I keep in touch and this particular day she was telling me of the trip she and her daughter, along with her niece would be taking. I was intrigued. The mere description of the trip made my shoulders relax and I was able to breathe, so I took the next step that any sane person would have…I invited myself. WHAT! I can go….oh my goodness. Okay, now I have to make my flight and I have to pack, and I have to…that’s it! The rest would be the ride of my life. We knew not where our drives would take us, we only knew that we would drive. So for the next five days, we were driving, talking, playing ‘Name that Tune’ with the iPod, and taking in the scenery that was indescribable. Where we would end…no one would know. The images you see are what we saw. It was the best trip in the world.
